Product Package
This product can be conveniently used for virus specimen collection and transportation without further preparation at room temperature.It is available in various packaging sizes with different volumes of medium in test tube listed in Table1:

Transport and storage conditions
The product can be transported at 4-35 °C for 14 days.
For long-term storage, It can be stored at 4-8 °C up to 12 months.
Limitation
1. Calcium alginate swabs and wooden shaft swabs should not be used for specimen collection as the contained toxin may interfere with final test result.
2. It is not recommended to use this medium with one-step release agent to extract nucleic acid.
Instructions for Use
1. Open the package; get the one-off swab to sample (do not touch the swab head with hand).
2. After the sampling is completed, open the tube which containing the UTM, immerse the swab head completely into the medium, break the handle of the swab, seal the lid tightly, and shake gently.
3. Put the tube into the packaging bag and pass it to the professional personnel.
4. After the sampling is completed, the samples within the UTM can be stored at room temperature for up to 2 days.
